Best bet: Deel Red
Our top two choices for this race event are not likely to take us by surprise. Deel Red finished midfield last start at York when resuming, while Nicklaus trialled and won since his last race three weeks ago. Mr. Stikler is first-up after a 17-week spell, he has also trialled at Lark Hill, where he had his share of each-way claims. Divine Quest has a strong finish and ended up midfield last start at Pinjarra Park. He is expected to race at full speed with minimal pressure. He makes a good each-way bet.
